高久めぐみ著「そてつの笛」の詩情溢れる幻想的な世界に浸る、Maika Loubtéによる劇伴試作。1962年に発行されたこの長編小説は、母と娘の八丈島での儚くも美しい日常風景を描いた物語で、当時小学４年生だった著者によって実体験をもとに執筆されました。現在は絶版となっていることから、驚くべき名作ながら幻の書籍として知られています。
　62年前の少女の筆跡にインスピレーションを受け、ピアノの旋律と電子音の映像的な響きを融合させた7分間の短い音楽集が完成。各曲は「そてつの笛」の中のいくつかの短編を基にしており、小説の中の繊細な世界観を音楽で表現します。

This is a dramatic composition prototype by Maika Loubté, immersing listeners in the poetic and fantastical world of "Sotetsu's Flute" by Megumi Takaku. Published in 1962, this novel portrays the fleeting yet beautiful daily life of a mother and daughter on Hachijo Island, written based on the author's real experiences when she was 9 years old. Now out of print, it is known as a remarkable masterpiece, yet a phantom book.

Inspired by the handwriting of a girl from 62 years ago, a seven-minute collection of music is completed, blending piano melodies with the cinematic sounds of electronic music. Each piece is based on several short stories from "Sotetsu's Flute," expressing the novel's delicate world through music.
